In our most recent sprint, “Helicarrier,” we’ve launched Permission Connect, a new product designed to accelerate and streamline advertiser onboarding to Permission’s two-sided marketplace.

"Permission Connect" Release and Refinements 

What is Permission Connect? 

Permission Connect is a self-serve interface powered by Permission's proprietary API, whereby advertisers can unilaterally create campaigns, target audiences, and deploy their ads across Permission’s opt-in marketplace and other surfaces. 

Permission Connect’s primary use case is managing member opt-ins and opt-outs across various data types, including email subscriptions, demographic data, and advertiser retargeting. It also allows advertisers to seamlessly integrate with preferred CRM services (e.g., Salesforce, Klavio, etc.), facilitating real-time management of user content preferences. 

Key features of Permission Connect include:

• Real-time Management: Handles opt-ins and opt-outs in near real-time.
• ASK Digital Token: Rewards user actions with ASK Tokens.
• Secure and Scalable: Built on a robust API architecture to ensure security and scalability.

Immediately following the initial release of Permission Connect, we implemented several components, including:

• Email Opt-in/Opt-out Management: Initial support for managing email subscriptions.
• Advertiser Portal: A portal for advertisers to manage API keys.
• Documentation: Comprehensive API and integration documentation.
• UI Enhancement: Ability to auto-populate brand information when creating or updating brands, reducing manual entry requirements and improving data accuracy
