Bridging Your ASK Tokens to Base via LayerZero

IMPORTANT! Wormhole-bridged ASK on Base (“wrapped ASK”) will no longer be supported.

To enable continued support and future functionality of ASK on Base, we are migrating to LayerZero as our bridging protocol.

As part of this transition, all holders of Wormhole-bridged ASK on Base will need to repatriate their tokens back to Polygon and then bridge to Base via LayerZero. 

As part of this migration, all Liquidity Pools for wrapped ASK on Base will now be exclusively associated with the following contract address on LayerZero: 0xBB146326778227A8498b105a18f84E0987A684b4. 

Going forward, the token Contract for ASK on Base will be: 0xBB146326778227A8498b105a18f84E0987A684b4.  

⚠️ Why This Matters

  • Wormhole-bridged ASK on Base (“wrapped ASK”) will no longer be supported.
  • All LPs associated with wrapped ASK on Base via Wormhole will not be tradable.
  • Once migration is complete, the token contract address for wrapped ASK on Base (0x79322CEE6C90735b967d2396b9ADc392915aeBB6) will be deprecated, and this asset will no longer be available on Base. 

🔁 Action Required

Please follow these two steps to complete the transition:

Step 1: Bridge ASK from Base to Polygon via Wormhole

  1. Visit https://portalbridge.com/ and connect your wallet.
  2. Buy or send some ETH on Base to pay for the transaction fees.
  3. Select Base as the source chain (copy the token contract: 0x79322CEE6C90735b967d2396b9ADc392915aeBB6) and Polygon as the destination.
  4. Bridge your ASK tokens from Base back to Polygon.

Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Step 2: Bridge ASK from Polygon to Base via Stargate

  1. Visit the LayerZero bridge at https://stargate.finance/bridge (or supported dApp).
  2. Select Polygon as the source chain and Base as the destination.
  3. Enter the new ASK contract address on Base:
    • Contract Address: 0xBB146326778227A8498b105a18f84E0987A684b4
  4. Bridge your ASK tokens to Base.
  5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
